Scott hauled his suitcase from the back of the car, letting it thump onto the ground. It crushed the grass underneath, killing one of the sparsely-growing dandelions on the lawn. He held a hand above his eyes, shielding them from the sun, and looked up at the house that was to be called home for the next two weeks.

Summary
He doesn't know exactly why he took control that day. Sonic was captured, leaving Knuckles mate instincts disorganized, the resistance was twice at work, troops were falling, supplies were running low. The attack from infinite already left them in shambles, needless to say, Eggman trailing behind wasn't pretty either. Besides, wasn't Angel Island and the Master Emerald at risk?
Well, that was its own issue. Especially when the Master Emerald suddenly overpowers Knuckles with chaos energy.

Summary
“Um, excuse me, Miss Tour Guide? One of the spiders is missing!” Amy called out, her hand raised, before pointing at the terrarium in question - which was, in fact, devoid of a spider.
“Oh. Well, rest assured, I’m sure one of the researchers here has taken it for further testing, so don’t be alarmed.” The tour guide continued, and before Amy could open her mouth to ask any questions about what kind of tests they’d be conducting on the spider, she moved on to explaining some of the other spiders in the terrariums.
Sonic slumped, suppressing a groan - he couldn’t wait for this field trip to be over already.
Then, he suddenly felt a sharp pinprick of pain on the back of his left hand, yelping and turning down to see a spider had bitten through his glove. With an annoyed (and a little pained) huff, he swatted the spider, watching its crumpled form fall to the ground.
“You good?” Knuckles asked, the only student who was close enough to hear him yelp.
“Y-Yup! Yup. All good!” Sonic said quickly - he’d never live it down if Knuckles found out about him getting bitten by a spider almost immediately after talking about a missing spider. It would just be so embarrassing.Or: A Sonic x Spider-Man AU :D

Summary
The 12-count serial kidnappings. A ruthless case where important people were targeted one by one. What they wouldn’t tell you is how those people were criminals who escaped from the law with power. But, Grian knew. The “Murderess” was his hero.
Unfortunately, the case had gone cold. So when they suddenly reemerged by showing an unnervingly gory spectacle, only Grian knew that it wasn’t really the original murderess. And it wasn’t because he was lead of forensics.
His plans are overturned when a certain prodigy who almost solved the last case returns.
He succeeded, in a way. The Murderess returned to his call, drawn by the blood on his hands. Now for step 2… actually talk to them.
Scott woke up in a cold hospital room, remembering the past 6 years spent after Martyn’s betrayal. He remembers the murderess that he almost caught. What he doesn’t remember is the 2 years of the resurgence of said murderess that apparently almost killed him, nor the (fairly attractive) brunette staring worriedly at him. Amnesia, the doctors said. Sometimes temporary, but this doesn’t seem to be the case for him.
