“Lan Zhan,” he repeated, embarrassingly reverent. The man in question shuffled even closer in response — quite the accomplishment considering he had already been molded to Wei Wuxian’s side.
“You can call me Wei Ying,” he said, needing to hear his name echoed back in that smooth tone.
“...Darling.”
Wei Wuxian choked on an inhale. He bent at the waist, coughing until he could breathe normally again. When he straightened up, Lan Zhan was right in front of him, looking down at him almost impassively.
“No, not darling,” Wei Wuxian said, twice as loud and about five times more frantic. “Wei. Ying.”
“Mn.” A slight tilt of the head. “Darling.”
Or: Lan Zhan gets drunk at the club and wanders off. Wei Ying saves him from a creep, learns his name, loses his shit (continuously), reunites him with Xichen, and somehow gets permission to sleep with him once he sobers up. Mazel tov?

Neuvillette clears his throat, taking his hand back with some amount of awkwardness. For a boy who’d committed a faux pas, he certainly looked adorable enough to be forgiven easily. “You are only supposed to symbolically kiss the knuckles…of a lady, that is. I’m afraid such greetings are not meant for men.”
“But we’re not men, are we?” Wriothesley asks. There is no shame on his face, as there is just amusement as he takes his own hand back to press it against his back. “We’re just boys, who are meant to be playmates. And you’re certainly beautiful enough to warrant a chivalrous kiss on the knuckles, even if you’re not a lady.”
“...you have a silver tongue, it seems.”

“May I,” Wriothesley hesitates. “May I help you sit up?” He’s just had his hands all over the Chief Justice, so this is an inane question, but that had been different. Neuvillette hadn’t been awake, hadn’t even been conscious. Now Wriothesley feels frozen in place, like he’s iced his own boots to the floor with a blast of misguided Cryo.
Neuvillette considers, a small line furrowing his brow. “I… think I might need you to, yes.”
Or, the one where Neuvillette drains too much of his power and Wriothesley finds and takes care of him.
