Summary
"Yerim is not in here. There's nothing or no one in the bathroom."
"What? Where is she, then? Did she even come back?" Chaeryeong asks, but Chan soothes her and tells her not to panic. Chaeryeong takes a deep breath. "Sorry. I just—She was drunk, and all, and no one has seen her since she left to take a walk, right?"
It's silent as everyone shares a look with one another. Jisung and Minho did go outside, but they didn't see her around. Jisung never even thought of keeping an eye out for her, as he was too occupied with Minho and his own thoughts.
OR: What was supposed to be a fun reunion in their now-abandoned hometown, quickly turns into something darker when Jeongin's new girlfriend, Yerim, disappears. To make things worse, a sandstorm traps Jisung and his friends in town with no way to get help while finding out what happened to Yerim.

“Woah!” Jisung said just as Minho was about to press their lips together. He pushed Minho back a little bit as he felt his heart rate accelerating. “I’m straight! I don’t! I’m not! No!”
“Oh shit, I’m sorry.” Minho laughed, putting a little space between them and taking his hand from Jisung to rub the back of his hair as he smiled bashfully.
“I don’t… Why did you think I was gay?” Jisung asked, his eyes wide and brow furrowed as he started to worry.
“I didn’t look at you and think ‘he looks gay, I’m gonna kiss him’ I looked at you and thought ‘he looks pretty, I’m gonna try and kiss him’.”
“Oh…” Jisung breathed.-
Jisung struggled to fit in, to feel normal and to flow with the rest of the world. He knew he liked women, of course he did. So why when he met Minho did everything become so much better and worse all at once?

Or; Jisung is in denial about his sexuality, and Minho makes it hard to keep denying. So hard that it triggers a breakdown and poor decisions.

Minho just hums. He strokes Jisung’s soft jaw. “Tell hyung, baby.”
Jisung leans forward, his lips against Minho’s neck, like he can't bear to even speak it out loud in the space between them. His hands bunch up in the fabric of Minho’s tee at the nape of his neck.
“I-I want to say no… and I want you to fuck me anyway.”
Jisung wants to try something new. Minho struggles with how much he likes it, too.

Summary
The cherry was red. Unnaturally so. On top of the white frosting, it reminded Jisung of a drop of blood on untouched snow. Audacious in its tarnish of something so pure and clean. Shameless with its grotesque obscenity.
There was a glaze to it, as if clarity had left it long ago. As if its judgement was blessed to be clouded from alcohol, or sweet smoke, or something so much more cruel and painful.
Sitting there, in the black tuxedo that he had bought for his grandmother’s funeral two years ago, Jisung wanted nothing more than to rip into the cherry, to dig into its flesh and destroy it until there was nothing left but its bare core. He wanted to put the pads of his thumbs on either side of the fruit and push until it was forced to feel like him; ripped open, vulnerable, naked.

“Jisung-ssi,” Minho breathes, voice barely audible over the weight of the world pushing down on him. “I know this sounds crazy, but do you believe in fate?”
Jisung smiles and it’s genuine. “No. But you do.”
Minho snorts and sits back in his chair, surprised at the certainty in which Jisung speaks. “I think you’re pushing your luck.”
“I don’t think it’s luck.”
“So it is fate,” Minho teases, cocking his head. He picks up his notepad and takes his pen out from behind his ear, underlining the word ‘romantic’ with two tight lines.
“No,” Jisung says again, big eyes turning sad. “I think things just happen. Even when they’re not supposed to.”
(OR: Minho and Jisung find each other in every life, even when the universe doesn't want them to. It does everything to stop them and they do everything to keep going.)

Jisung’s breath hitched. Itching to hold that hand again, he fit his fingers between Minho’s, but stayed wordless in his acceptance. For a moment, Jisung simply existed with Minho’s hand in his.
He was content to be a spectator, just a pair of eyes watching from afar, but, as he tightened his grip on Minho, it all fell into place.
Jisung suddenly wants to waltz. Wants, not a subjection, for the first time in his life.
He looked into Minho’s eyes as if for confirmation, and God are they sparkling. Like a pair of fallen stars.

“I’m trying to say that you’re smiling at your phone like a teenager who just got a love letter, and you didn’t tell me you were spending time with some omega,” the words flew out faster than he could think them through. His voice was still even, but his fingers gripped the edge of the blanket. “It looks weird. I have the right to ask.”

When Minho catches sight of himself in the mirror above their counter top, he stops, taking a few steps back, so he can see himself from the hips up. He hadn’t thought much of his appearance lately until the diet conversation today. He didn’t feel like he gained a lot or changed significantly in the last few weeks other than he felt well rested. Looking in the mirror, he still likes what he sees. He might not want to take his shirt off for the world to see, his thumb tracing the light scar on the side of his abdomen, but he looks good enough, doesn’t he?
Feeling suddenly uncertain, he looks away and opens the bathroom door. Maybe he can try to see himself through Jisung’s eyes for a night.

Jisung isn't sure if he's scared, or if he's besotted.
