Summary
Adrien, a teen model, sheltered by his abusive father, is given the chances of a lifetime in the forms of becoming a superhero called Chat Noir to fight against a villain named Hawk Moth, and going to school like a normal kid for the first time in his life.
Along the way, he learns the ways of the world and develops new friendships, including Nino, Kagami, and Luka, who become his closest friends as time goes on. He even falls in love with his mysterious partner, Ladybug, who is not interested in him that way but is still an important person in his life nevertheless.
When everything he's come to know at this point takes an unexpected turn, bonds are tested and changed in never before imagined ways as Adrien searches for the right thing to do, and learns to accept himself in the process.
(Basically a fix-it fanfic of Miraculous Ladybug, in which Adrien is the main protagonist, and characters besides Marinette are allowed to have screen time and develop).

Summary
It's been almost thirty years since Shifty crawled out of the lab like a zombie rising from the grave, since Stanford Pines fell beyond their reach. Thirty years of almost nightly work on a portal that refused to obey their and Stan's commands, no matter what they did. Thirty years since the start of the Mystery Shack and Shifty's alter ego, the unlikeable co-manager of said Shack. Hope is starting to wear thin, and frustration is running high.
But when a pair of twins begin to stumble upon the mysteries of the town, there might be something left to find after, be they solutions or secrets. Secrets that might as easily destroy Shifty as they could save them.

The tapping of Ford’s foot comes to a stop.
It feels like the rest of the world should stop, too, then. He even sits there, perfectly still and with bated breath, giving Gravity Falls a picture-perfect opportunity to unshackle any of its regular irregularity. Any moment now, some supernatural being could intercept their call, or the laws of physics would be inexplicably broken, or maybe some gargantuan, never before seen beast would just barge through the cabin wall in a homicidal rampage, and Ford would welcome it all with open arms.
But the clock keeps ticking, the crickets keep chirping, and the world keeps spinning. It’s only him and his heart that’d stopped.
(Or: Fiddleford chose Ford to be the best man at his wedding. Neither one of them are particularly happy to be there.)
