He flapped his wings, hoping to see more off the ground, but the rush of smoky air blowing into his sensitive eyes made it difficult to see, and he had to land. Ridley was panicking, the smoke began filling up his lungs, he didn’t want to die. He ran around, tripping over what were most likely bodies. He just shouted, hoping she would recognize his voice, again and again screaming her name.

Summary
So, he clicks it. The Orion Pax in him is still making horrible decisions, Optimus guesses, because when he hears a sleepy groan and a “who the frag is this” on the other line, he realizes he’s made a horrible mistake.
Optimus Prime accidentally calls Megatron in the middle of the night, two and a half weeks after their fight. They end up talking a lot more than they'd expected.

Silence, immediate and defending, as Megatron's jaw falls right off of his face. Optimus mirrors this in an expression of abject horror.
Iacon is at peace, but their Prime and Protector are a pair of angry, blithering idiots. Cybertron would be a lot better off if they'd just kiss and make up already.

Summary
The Space Pirate commander Ridley has grown tired of the endless bloodshed and death he brings to every colony. The universe fears his terrifying presence, but Ridley himself fears that he's grown bored of the monotony of killing. That's when he meets little Samus Aran, an adorable three year-old girl who survived his attack. Seeing a new opportunity to start a trafficking business with the child, the pirate takes her into his "care."
Soon, however, the sadistic and genocidal monster finds he's developed paternal instincts for Samus. With these instincts come a bond between a human and a beast, as well as a new feeling that threatens to drain his sanity: the overwhelming guilt of having slaughtered thousands of people who were just as innocent as her.
