Summary
Eddie stumbles upon Steve and Robin outside of the movie theatre, after they had escaped from the Russians. Eddie, much to his displeasure, can't stop thinking about Steve Harrington. He gets sucked into everything a lot earlier, and is left to deal with his jumbled thoughts and feelings after facing the fleshed out Mind Flayer. Similarly traumatized, Steve helps as much as he can, considering he's also very confused about the mystery that calls itself "Eddie Munson."
Something is lurking, though, just below the surface, using Steve's insecurities to fuel a fire that might just burn them both to ashes.
UPDATE: Will remain unfinished indefinitely. I will eventually return to this work, but it will likely be a long time before picking this back up will make me happy. For those who haven't started reading, there has been no development of their romantic relationship so far.
