Summary
This isn't how she expected the 2nd of December to go. She was in her room, locked away. Calls began to pop up on her phone from an unknown number. Messages by someone named Percy, she refused to believe was her brother. And then, movement. Sound. And then, the Briarwoods were arrested, and her brother, whom she had thought was dead, came inside the room, with panic in his eyes, rushing and kneeling in front of her.
This isn't how she expected her 2nd of December to go. An hour later, after telling the police what they needed to know and talking to the paramedics, assuring them she was okay. Most of the marks have already disappeared. The last month has been a pretty good month. They're both standing outside. She's fully still, no expression on her face. She's barely blinking, whereas her brother cannot stop moving. He's shifting, biting his lip, muttering reassuring words to someone on the phone she doesn't recognize.
