When Shelby Shubble is young, the golden age of Empires is nothing but a chapter in the history books, a tale parents tell their children, a test topic that teenagers complain about.
It’s her grandma who tells Shelby about it, about the great kingdoms of old, how they rose and how they fell. Shelby eagerly anticipates each part of the story, chiming in when she gets too excited– she knows the story from memory. After all, she’s asked her Grandma to tell her the story too many times to count.

After Dream is put into prison, Sapnap watches the remains of his life crumble and fall through his fingers. First, it's the loss of Bad through the radio silence post the Red Banquet, then Quackity's disappearance, then Karl's memory issues, then George's magical coma.
Enough is enough. At this point, trying to blackmail DreamXD into giving him his best friend back is the best plan he's got.

There’s only one strong goal in her mind, and it’s that no one can know. She doesn’t know what they’re not supposed to know, though it’s about her. But she needs to act like everyone here.

Pearl is struggling to stay afloat on a strange world, besieged by dreams of her past and words - worlds - she can only half remember. Unbeknownst to her, the other players on Hermitcraft have been desperately searching for her ever since she went missing months ago.

A wonderful, extremely creative and intriguing look into Pearl joining Hermitcraft. Contains some of the coolest CSS I've ever seen, and the worldbuilding around Minecraft mechanics was GENIUS. I am such a huge fan of this one, it was truly so fun to read.

“Ranboo, what happened to you?” Wilbur asks, the words coming out with more sharpness than he intends. He ignores the memory of a pressure plate behind glass pane, blood splattered on the wall, a low, grieving whimper, and the feeling of Quackity’s skin tearing under the pressure of Wilbur’s teeth as the world screams to a halt.
“Well, for one, I think I’m about to get divorced. Darn!” The ghost says. “I also, y’know, died. Permanently! And it’s actually, like, kind of funny, because it was still just as pathetic as last time. Huh, starting to notice a pattern there.”
(Wilbur and Ghostboo have a baking competition.)

A brilliant exploration of c!Wilbur and Boo post-c!Ranboo's death, which also contains one of my favorite lines of all time: "Grief tugs on his sleeve, a child shyly asking for attention." The details in this fic really elevate it to the next level-- I'll def be rereading this one.
