    Author’s note:
    Hi everyone! It’s been awhile. Sorry this chapter is late. I was traveling over the weekend and my plane almost crashed, it lost an engine mid-air but thankfully we landed safely and everyone is ok. But I was writing this chapter with the plane wifi so I lost half of my edits and had to rewrite it. Hope you enjoy!

    Or: Luca Haas, Hollanov fanboy extraordinaire, suffers through a series of unfortunate events.

    @IlyaRozanovOfficial✅ Happy to announce that I WILL be pounding Shane Hollander tonight! That ass is MINE!

    @CliffMarleau✅Brother, please ask me before you post shit like this.

    @BostonWAGOneDay pounding him into… the boards… right? RIGHT?

    @HollanderBabe24 in my dreams 🙏🙏🙏

    @HockeyFan81 PLEASE have someone proof-read this man’s Tweets.

    @IllyaRozanovOfficial✅ what is ‘proof-read’? Internet tells me this mean
    fix errors. What error? I said what I said.

    @HockeyFan81 I’M SCREAMING

    OR: Instead of just hooking up at the CCM shoot, Shane and Ilya start a serious relationship the summer before their rookie season. They are not public about their relationship, but Ilya sees no reason to lie when people ask him what he thinks of his biggest rival. Maybe it’s the Russian accent, though, because for some reason, everyone thinks he's joking.

    Summary

    “We do not say anything about the Hollander situation,” LeClaire tells them even though it sounds like he’s already resigned to what he knows is going to happen.

    After all, Roz gets extremely mad whenever it’s brought up. Not that Cliff can blame him, he’s pretty sure that Roz liked Hollander before this (wouldn’t chirp him half as much if he didn’t). Finding out that he’s such a bastard must sting.

    Not to mention that Roz does not mess around with people that disrespect girls. Or women. Or kids. Or dogs. Or the elderly (excluding Scott Hunter). Or really anyone, if it’s for petty stupid reasons.

    “Of course,” Cliff agrees for both of them since Roz is still too busy texting someone.

    It’s apparently not good enough for LeClaire because he asks, “Roz?”

    “Just one second,” he answers without raising his eyes from his phone or stopping his typing. “Need to get my Jane to agree with something. She’s very stubborn.”

    Or. My take on the 'their text leak and now everybody thinks that Shane is an abusive bastard' premise. Featuring Ilya giving a presser, Marly realizing in real time who 'Jane' is and the internet reacting to the craziness.

    Post-TLG Hollanov & Centaurs SMAU 5+1
    The five times Shane and Ilya try to soft launch their relationship, and one time they hard launch it.
    Mostly canon compliant, but instead of them being outed as a couple, only Shane is outed prior to his move to the Centaurs, so they get to come out on their own terms.
