Or: Luke is struggling to wrap her head around a few concepts. Being a twin sister is one. Being the twin sister of a princess is another. Being the half of a pair of twins who were separated at birth, each ending up on unfairly opposite sides of the galaxy just by chance, is a bit much.

Summary
Zuko hadn’t been the best brother, but who could blame him? Running a country at eighteen was no easy task. He couldn’t be there for Azula the way he wanted to, but he did what he thought was best: admitting her to the finest mental hospital in the Fire Nation so she could finally get the help she needed.

Summary
Zuko has always despised these royal balls even before his banishment. Returning after three years feels like stepping into a world frozen in time, where nothing’s changed even though everything has. While Zuko tries to fade into the background, Azula shines like a diamond. Typical.
But when a seasoned general twice her age starts to get dangerously close, Zuko expects Azula to scorch him or threaten him or blackmail him at the very least. Instead, she just stands there and lets it happen. Something inside Zuko snaps and even though it’s against his better judgment, he can’t stop himself from stepping in.
