Summary
Insecure in both his personal identity and his new role as Supreme Leader, Kylo Ren condescendingly consults General Hux — his formal rival, yet a brilliant tactician — on matters of state. The overworked, exasperated general vociferously returns the insults, but without the protection of Snoke, he has nowhere to run when Ren’s violent temper devolves into a psychosexual obsession.
Hux, a victim of serial childhood abuse, crumples when thrown back down the well of waking nightmares he thought he’d clawed himself out of. Meanwhile, the war rages on, and by the time Ren realizes what he’s done to what could have been his greatest ally, it may be too late for either of their souls…
Kylo falls into him, pummeling him relentlessly, embracing him, kissing his name into silken hair. “Armitage,” Kylo repeats, enjoying the tumble of phonemes no less the second time and temporarily withholding his ugly grunts to whisper into Hux’s ear: “I could fucking marry you.” He means it, overcome with the realization he will never want nor need anyone else ever again.

Summary
There came a time in every young man’s life, Renly told himself as he shifted gears and peeled out of the turning for the interstate, when he had to sling his battered old suitcase full of designer clothes he couldn’t truthfully afford in the trunk of his car and get the hell out of Dodge.
Renly is a guy who's stagnating in the little town he's stuck in, so one day he throws in the towel and drives off for an adventure. Problem is, his car breaks down about six hours in. Luckily, the sons of a local farmer pass by in their commercial truck and offer him a tow, and the rest, as they say, is history.
(I reread my favourite book recently and it's about a guy who runs an orchard in Massachusetts. I got to thinking, Hey, aren't the Fossoways associated with apples? and thus my farmer!AU Game of Thrones fanfic idea was born.)
