Summary
It wasn’t in their plan to stay for an extended period in this village. It was supposed to be a stopover for supply replenishment, and a one-night reprieve in this arduous journey. Especially since the town wasn’t really special. It was just a farming town for flowers.
Or where Sasuke and Sakura learn to confront the elephant realizations they have been skirting around for some time now, and what happens in the end is nothing short of ordinary; it signals the turning page to forever.

Summary
After 2 years of traveling on his own, Sasuke returns to the village where friends anxiously await him. Still troubled by the mysteries of Kaguya and his personal guilt, Sasuke is split between friends and his journey. Troubled by rising casualties and international dependence on her abilities, Sakura is torn between her love for Sasuke and her duty to her village. Taking a chance on love, Sakura joins Sasuke on his next mission in his search for traces of the Otsusuki in the deserts of Sunagakure.
This story takes place immediately after the Sakura Hiden and Sasuke Shinden Light Novels. It tries to be as canon-compliant as possible with minor inconsistencies or deviations.

But then he is killed by the guards of the girls village and now they're both dead and the treasure is hidden away somewhere”.
