"Stop acting like we're friends" - Rin said as Shidou sat down beside him during breakfast for no particular reason.
"Hey, I'm just trying to build some chemistry between us! Isn't that adorable?" - he laughed.
"You're the exact opposite of adorable." - If he had to describe Shidou's behavior in a single word, it would definitely be annoying.
"Man, I feel like being friends with you would be toxic" - he remarked, though it was more of a joke than anything else.
"That's exactly why we'll never be friends."

Summary
Just like that night, he grabbed a razor blade. He took off his shirt and ran the blade across his arm. Three cuts were enough, and he already felt intense pain. And worse, it didn't bother him.
He didn’t bother to be gentle.
This time, he did it forcefully, without thinking.
Sometimes in moments like these, he feels nothing, but now he definitely feels too much. And he can't control it.
He wants to be alone. Ideally, forever. Then no one will hurt him, right?

After a few minutes, he looked up at Shidou, who smiled again as soon as he saw it.
"Is your breathing back to normal?" he asked, to which Rin nodded uncertainly.
"Why are you here?" he asked in a trembling voice.
"Huh? And I was supposed to leave you, knowing you were about to faint from oxygen deprivation?"
"Shut up" he pulled away, wiping his reddened eyes with his shirt sleeve.

“Why would I talk about my love life to someone who’s clearly never experienced anything like it?” he sneered, a mocking smile on his face as he leaned against the closed door.
“My life is none of your business” he said, glaring at him with irritation, which only made Shidou laugh louder.
“I'm dating your brother, so technically-”
“You just said he doesn’t like you, idiot!” he shouted in anger. He hated it when Shidou mentioned Sae in any way. Besides they weren’t even dating. What did he even mean by that?

"We have very different tastes" - Shidou laughed. - "It'll be hard to decide on paintings for our future shared apartment."
Rin blinked. They'd never discussed any kind of apartment together before, so he didn't understand why Shidou had suddenly brought it up. Although the idea didn't sound so bad at all.
"Move in together?" - he asked after a moment of thought and putting everything together.
"I guess that's obvious" - he looked at him.

With adrenaline coursing through his veins and noise blasting his ears, it took Isagi a second to realise Rin wasn’t getting up.
“Rin?”
Rin always got up. Even in the NEL, after breaking his nose from the force of that crash shot, he’d still been fit enough to continue – to taunt Isagi, even. He constantly leapt into the jaws of danger, challenging himself to increasingly dangerous stunts on the pitch just to satisfy the addictive destruction he’d devoted himself to. When he did injure himself, which was often, he’d always appear even more alive, eyes glinting with some perverse sense of ecstasy at the pain. He always got up. He never looked like this.
Something was very wrong.
OR: Rin and Isagi both get injured during a Champions League game.

Isagi’s grip on the plastic cup in his hand tightened, almost crushing it. His patience was wearing thin.

Summary
Rin Itoshi is deeply disturbed during the break between the lost match in the World Cup and the next one. Under normal circumstances, the lost match would already be enough to destabilize him. However, the fact that he fucked Isagi Yoichi in a fit of mutual hatred right after that aggravated the situation.
He refused to sleep at the Blue Lock facilities, wanted to spend time alone outside of training, and had no desire to look at Isagi's damn face. Ego, against all expectations, agrees; in a malicious way, he says that Sae Itoshi is nearby and, as Rin’s closest legal guardian—besides being an eligible player for the upcoming matches—must take Rin into his apartment. However, during the following hours in Sae’s apartment, Rin begins to grow paranoid.

The crowd is at the edge of their seats, and the other team members are holding their breath. Rin looks at Shidou with unmoving eyes, and Shidou looks back at him with the look of a man who knows Rin’s going to say yes. To the two of them, they’re the only ones in the entire stadium, that’s how it always is. They’re the only two players on the field, the only two members, they are the only one the other sees, and now is no different.
“Marrying me in front of such a crowd to make sure I say yes, how lukewarm.”
