Hizashi stares at him and Shouta sighs deeply. The ground is cold beneath him and the sky looks as if it's about to open up like the heavens and pour down on them. He chews on the inside of his bloody lip and fidgets with the bright yellow fabric of his sleeping bag.
"My mom kicked me out for being gay," he whispers in one desperate exhale, flinching at Hizashi's sharp gasp. That's something off his chest, at least.
