Summary
This was Technoblade's house. It's not nearly as regal as Tommy expected of the ex-royalty anarchist, but who's Tommy to judge?
Before he can even move away, his ears catch the sound of doors creaking open and animal cries. Tommy crouched low in the snow, pressing his underbelly to the ground. Out of the basement entrance was Technoblade, his sword was sheathed in a scabbard on his hip, but Tommy was more intimidated by the sheer amount of dogs barking, growling, and prying for Technoblade’s attention.
The hounds took off into the snow, kicking it up like dust as they howled. Tommy felt his heart sink to his stomach as they headed straight for him. The first to catch up to him nipped him in the side while the second clocked Tommy in the shoulder, knocking him off his paws and tumbling into the snow.
“Hey!” Techno yelled, most of the dogs immediately running back to their owner while three others sat beside Tommy with wagging trails. “What’re you- oh?”
Tommy can shift into a wolf and decides to stay that way

Summary
It was as if lava had poured down their bond. Both Tommy and Wilbur went down with a scream, desperately trying to cut their bond, but it was too late.
By the time the lava cooled, and all the hunters were taken down, there was no magic to be called upon. As if the lave had turned to bedrock right in their core. As if all of their magic was hidden away behind unbreakable stone.
“Tommy,” Wilbur had gritted, jaw tight and eyes hard with anger. “What did you do?”
Bad luck, the card had said. Bad luck.
Tommy hadn’t proved himself. Tommy had embarrassed himself, Tommy had ruined Wilbur’s magic.
And it was all Tommy's fault.

After a spell leaves Tommy and Wilbur without magic, Tommy takes it upon himself to fix it. But after his solution, Tommy is stuck unwillingly going to alternate realities--of the futures that Wilbur has changed.
When Tommy's memory begins to slip, and he never knows if he's in his reality or a different one, he fights against what's real, what's fake, and what he feels he has to do to make up for his mistake.

Summary
Tommy is Death.
A short three word sentence, simple in presentation but so much more complicated beyond it.
He isn't human, and it's his duty, as has been allowed by the universe, to draw spirits from the dark, from dirt and flesh, to guide and love and protect, and he hasn't always been like this, but that's a story for another time.
For now, Tommy is Death, and he is who guides creatures into rest but doesn't choose when they die, and he is kind, is love, is the shepherd, the protector, the warden of all life and that which is beyond it.
And for a time, that was enough. That was all.

Summary
Once there was a cruel king that ruled with violence.
Once there was a coup organized by the king's younger son and most trusted advisor.
Once there was a curse: for the son to never step foot upon his father's land again and for the advisor and his family to learn obedience to their king if they couldn't learn loyalty.
And now there is a boy, cursed by his great-great grandfathers actions to always be obedient to the royal line, and now he's been taken in by the same royal family that cursed his bloodline.
Tommy's curse is not a kind one. His family loves him, but they occasionally make mistakes. (At least... Tommy hopes they're just mistakes.) Will that love prove itself stronger than the curse pulling them all towards an ending their ancestors designed or is his fate inevitable.
