The delirium is a crutch of sorts though, acting as a catalyst for his derealization. Delusional and numb, he stares forward blankly. The sickness in his mind is crafting daydreams of fishing trips and long adventures on horseback. Visions of a setting sun over the pond at Clemens Point, his family laughing and drunkenly singing songs by a campfire.”

Summary
