Summary
Once beloved and worshiped, the gods now live in fear of somiri, human godhunters who consume divine flesh for immortality.
A woman at last finds the god she became somiri to kill. She has no interest in its flesh, only in ensuring its death to avenge the murder of her son. If her death is necessary to do so? So be it. Her life hasn't been worth preserving since choosing her path for revenge.
While the two die side-by-side, they vent the pain they blame one another for and provide unexpected catharsis to their hated enemy.

Summary
