Summary
Ruze is a sex worker. No one in his personal life knows until a friend, Vermillion, hires him on accident to fuck Vermillion's boyfriend.
There are, to be fair, a lot of worst case scenarios at this job. Most of which, especially ones that threaten the health and safety of escorts and clients alike, are planned for in advance with escorts expected to re-familiarize themselves with what to do if the safety measures in place fail regularly.
This isn't one of those worst case scenarios but Ruze's personal worst case scenario. The worst, worst, worst case scenario because he'd prefer anything to this.

Summary
The townsfolk have finally started warming up to the Huntsman and his friendship with Gideon has only grown stronger over time. Too strong, maybe, considering Huntsman is hopelessly in love with his best friend and liable to slip up in keeping it secret.
He could blame the alcohol but the alcohol is an accomplice at best.
Gideon's facing him, gesturing wildly as he tells a childhood story involving a 'possum in the attic that little Gideon'd mistaken for the ghost of a childhood cat. He's grinning as he tells it, voice raised because he's tipsy enough that volume modulation is a forgotten art. Huntsman's laughing, belly sore by the time Gideon gets to waking up with the damned thing in his bed, and something about the moment sends all the built up yearning rushing forth.
If he was sober, maybe he'd managed to reign it back in but he's doubtful. It's always been a matter of time before he slips up.
Huntsman kisses him.

Summary
After losing his house due to a fire, Verdant temporarily moves in with a friend. Ruze is understandably reluctant to house him but that reluctance paired with a list of dozens of strange rules, makes Verdant feel there's more behind it than wanting peace and privacy in his own home.
Parts of the demon bruise his stomach, points of pressure digging vengefully into his stomach, while others send shocks of dull pain through him from inside. Mixed with that pain is an anticipation, heavy enough that Verdant's head spins as he realizes he's become a conduit for the demon's bated breath.
His mouth is open, unable to close as more and more of the demon funnels in. Verdant is a mature adult who knows how to handle situations like this, albeit usually in more mundane manifestations.
He licks the demon.
It recoils immediately, leaving him cackling in the grass as he struggles to catch his breath. It's a pathetic sight, really, especially when the laughter worsens his nausea and he barely manages to roll onto his hands and knees before his stomach upends itself. Even then, the situation is so ridiculous that his fits of heaving are broken up by fits of laughter.

Turquoise has been fucking his best friend's boyfriend for about three months now.

Clifford Rolexus has caught a witch (read: Citrine; very angry mage Clifford is convinced is a witch) after weeks of hunting him. While dragging him back to town, a second witch (read: Vermillion; literally just a dude with a Southern accent) appears talking about a bounty on the first witch. Then they fall into weird sex plants and fuck about it.
"Two options," the witch finally says, with the look of someone who's just swallowed a mouthful of pond scum. "First, we can wait out the effects. Unfortunately, the refinement of evening-glow also shortens the duration of its effects. As a conservative estimate, it'll take at least a full 24 hours for it to run its course unaided. At most… a little over twice that, maybe."
"So let's not do that," Clifford says. He's accidentally drank enough spiked wine and suffered the consequences over the year to know that sounds fucking awful, actually.
The witch nods. Though he doesn't sound thrilled about it, he continues, "Agreed. Which leaves option two."
"Which is?"
The witch stares at him.
