Summary
“You know, I wasn’t expecting you to knock,” Aaron said, arms crossing over his chest as he leaned in the doorway, his voice tinged with humour that Paul knew was there to conceal his concern, “but I was expecting you to come inside.”
“I was just…” Paul shrugged, turning to look at the space around him on the stoop. “Admiring the scenery.”
“Yeah,” Aaron replied, his voice wry. “It’s amazing what you can do with a porch you don’t have time to clean.”

Summary
Aaron and Gabriel find a way to while away the hours in a safe house.
--
“There’s so much here,” Gabriel said, stepping back, his hip brushing against a stack of decorated bowls on the desk, the metal scraping against the polished wood, threatening to overbalance and clatter to the floor.
“I thought you’d like it.” Aaron’s words were punctuated with a light grunt as he lowered himself to the floor, sitting with his back to the wall beside the door.
“There are still several hours left before sunset,” Gabriel pointed out. “I’m sure you don’t want to spend it all watching me sift through this inventory of things we’ll leave behind.”
“I happen to like watching you,” Aaron said. stretching his legs out in front of him. His eyes were on Gabriel, though his fingers were carefully unclasping the buckles on his prosthesis until he could slide it away, setting it down on the floor beside him, his fingers moving to massage at the reddened flesh where the straps bit too tightly into his skin. “It’s not a bad way to spend an afternoon. But if you had something else in mind…”

Summary
‘Twas the night before Christmas, and in the Raleigh house,
Something was stirring, though ‘twasn’t a mouse,
Clothing was tossed ‘round the room without care,
And soon two fit bodies lay perfectly bare....

Summary
At the start of the outbreak, Daryl and Glenn accidentally acquire a baby. Coparenting with a stranger in the burgeoning apocalypse has its challenges. But, maybe, it also has its perks.
--
The sound took him to a trailer not far from the Dixon residence. Through the adrenaline and the throbbing headache, Daryl knew that there was something about this particular trailer that felt significant. He stepped over the short garden edging and onto the haphazardly arranged stone path. The ground cover crunched underfoot and it was only his gaze catching on the stroller folded up beside the door that made him realise. There was a baby here. Kid had cried so much since being brought home that Daryl’s old man had made a few threats about what he’d do to the baby and their momma if the noise didn’t cut out. The mom was young, a hell of a lot younger than she looked, but she hadn’t cowed down to Will Dixon. Too brave or too stupid. Those two often looked alike.
The baby was crying.
The baby was still alive.

Summary
A quiet winter's night, years after things have settled into the new world, Jesus and Daryl take their time, living the life they chose.
____The forest extended, dense and endless all around, offering them shelter for more than a decade now. By its grace, they still had a couple more left to offer, Paul thought, and when the time would come they’d return everything back, seep into the ground, allow nature to continue its course.
He never wondered when or how it would happen, never wondered if family or complete strangers would find their remains. But he hoped, when the time came, that it made no difference, because they would have left behind a place that told their story. That pieces of Daryl would linger long after they’re gone, that they’d find Paul’s threaded alongside his. That, much like the first time they’d found the cabin, whoever was going to step over its threshold, whoever was going to climb up to the very top of its watchtower, would be able to tell, without a doubt, that there had been love here once. That there had been devotion and care, that there had been hardship and effort, that they would be looking upon the remnants of a life worth living.

Summary
“And it didn’t bother you that the guard thought you were -- that we were -- ?” Nicolò asks, for what is definitely the fourth time, as they bed down, hopefully hidden from view by the reeds and trees of the Nile delta.
Yusuf sighs, rolling onto his back. “Do I mind that he thought I would be foolish enough to abandon all reason and take up with one of the men who helped sack Al-Quds? Yes, a little. Not enough to stop from using it as a perfectly serviceable escape route.”
“No,” Nicolò says, “I mean, that you would prefer the company of other men at all.”
Yusuf blinks, bemused. He hadn’t even thought of that. “As a rule, I try not to be insulted by accusations that are true,” he says drily.

The absolute fav where they're a fake couple throughout time as they travel together until finally it's real. Perfection in a single fic.

Summary
“I’m glad I came back while you’re still here," Jesus said, "I’ve been wanting to talk to you.” He rubbed the back of his neck, looking uncharacteristically nervous.
“Yeah?” Aaron asked, warily. “What about?”
Jesus made that nervous neck rub before going back to standing with his arms folded across his chest. “I know…well I’m guessing…you’ve gotten some of the same comments from the straights that I’ve been getting, right?
Aaron made a face, “Are you talking about people who are trying to pair up the last two gay men on earth?”
Jesus nodded, “That’s exactly what I’m talking about."
