Stray dogs of war is a slow burn, sometimes fast paced, story of five soldiers who left the their homeworlds to join the ranks of the Imperial military. Not all storm-troopers joined out of a sense of patriotism and adventure Conditions at home forced them all into active duty.
War is hell. The only way to win a war is to walk through hell with your soul intact.

After losing the best friend he ever had, Jason Skirata is thrust headfirst into the ranks of the Imperial purge troopers against his will to put his Mandalorian skills to use in destroying the remaining Jedi and carrying out atrocities in the empire's name.

Cin Vhetin: Drabbles is basically a bunch of "short" stories set in the same universe as my main fic "Cin Vhetin" (and by extension "To become a shadow")
I started to have a lot of these piling up in my doc so I thought, "Why not share it with the wonderful community of AO3?"
Most of these are set in the future of my main fic so if you are one to avoid spoilers you have been warned!
That being said these also have the chance of being incorporated into my main fic so keep a lookout for that!

An American friend of mine recently asked me for some Brit-picking tips on differences in smoking language/culture between America and England to be used in her Sherlock fic. I thought I'd go ahead and write a guide, including my experiences in other countries and some writing tips for how to portray characters who smoke. Much of this comes from personal experience, and it's not intended to be encouragement to smoke. Rated Teen and Up for swearing and talk of underage smoking.

“But remind him he’s not in charge,” Cody added. Obi-Wan knew that getting Cody to like Hondo was probably a lost cause, but he still hoped. Cody might put up with the Pirate Captain, but that was the extent of it.
Obi-Wan reached for his comm, dialing in the familiar code.
It took only a moment and then Hondo was answering, an exaggerated scowl on his face. “My betrayer!”
Obi-Wan rolled his eyes, not bothering to respond to the all too familiar accusation. “How do you feel about stealing something big?”
Hondo looked like he was debating with himself as to whether he wanted to continue being churlish and accusing or whether he wanted to steal things. Thankfully, in this, Hondo was very predictable. “You have drunken too much, my friend, if you have to ask.”
