Summary
Jesper accepts a job (per Kaz's orders, of course) as the Royal Escort for Jan Van Eck's son, which means he is stuck babysitting a very spoiled, very rich (very beautiful) young man; its the perfect opportunity to infiltrate the Van Eck House hold and take them down from the inside. Its too bad Wylan is so beautiful.
* * *When Jesper first saw Wylan, he looked like something out of a painting. He was sitting under a tree, bent over a sketch book; light streamed through the leaves of the tree, catching his ruddy hair, making it a golden red. And when he looked at Jesper, his eyes were a wide, clear blue. He looked like a prince in a fairytale. He was every bit the rich boy Jesper should have been expecting. But Jesper hadn’t been counting on Wylan being so beautiful.
Then he opened his mouth and the picture was ruined.
“Are you the new royal escort?” He asked; his accent was delicate and prim. Rich people have a way of reminding people that they’re rich, as if money seeps into their every mannerism. “Because if you are, you’re late. You were supposed to be here nearly,” He check his (expensive, gold) watch, “Thirty minutes ago.”

Adam had expected something horrible, charred metal and blood and dream debris-but instead, there was just Ronan, crumpled by the side of the road. The scene felt surreal to the point that it was almost poetic: Ronan on his back, bathes in the Henrietta afternoon light, like a prince, convulsing, flowers spilling from his mouth. Suffocating him, Adam realized.

Adam looked at Ronan’s prone form on the floor, he so rarely just got to look at Ronan. Ronan was always the one looking at him. Adam wondered if Ronan knew he noticed. He wondered if Ronan would stop if he knew Adam noticed.“Are you done with your homework already, Parish?”
Adam jumped, in surprise.
Ronan sat up, and gave him a curious look,
“I thought you were asleep,” Adam said, by way of explanation.
Ronan gave him a savage smile, “I never sleep.”
“Why?”
Ronan didn’t say anything.

"Antonio" Magnus replied, "Could you please avoid bleeding out in the kitchen? It's rather unsanitary."
Alec glared at Magnus. "I wasn't trying to" He growled, but Magnus was right, bodily fluid did not belong in the kitchen. Alec took a step towards the doorway. Black spots danced across his vision and his knees gave way.
"Idiot" Magnus said catching Alec by the waist, before he could crash to the ground, "It was a joke. Your welcome to bleed out wherever you like, who am I to judge."
Alec froze, Magnus's fingers were like tendrils of fire on Alec's skin, sending jolts of electricity up Alec's spine. For a second, Alec leaned into the touch, wanting more, before realizing what he was doing. His face flushed with shame. "Don't touch me" he snapped, almost instinctively.
"To pure to be tainted by a dirty downworlder?" Magnus asked, immediately letting Alec go, and watching with a smirk as Alec fell to the ground with a very undignified yelp.
