Summary
Every time Steve and Eddie break up and then makeup makes Eddie lose his mind a little more and more. Every time he wonders if this is the last time he’ll get to trace the moles on Steve’s back as if they were a connect-the-dot puzzle. He wonders if this is the last time he will be able to literally lick the grin off of Steve’s face even though Steve swears the phrase is “wipe that grin off.” He wonders if this will be the last time he can honest-to-god be happy.

Steve and Eddie have an on-again-off-again relationship their sophomore year before all of the bullshit of the Upside Down. Will they be able to make it through multiple apocalypses to ride off into the sunset in the end?
