Summary
When choosing to move to a land of snow and ice, Techno thought his life would finally be quiet. He believed that with the help of his old friend, Philza, he could escape the dark parts of his past and finally start a new. Though when a girl shows up nearly dead in the snow after a harsh blizzard, what will this mean for the man who thought he could run away from the world? The girl has no memories and no recollections of her time before ending up face first in the snow, but with nowhere else to go… She stays to recover with the help of Philza and Techno keeping a close eye on her. Maybe without her memories, it makes it easier for him to find trust in someone new for once- or will Techno gain a reason to go against the promise he made with himself and his sins?

Chapter 28, really good! If you need to remember: amnesia plot, reader does speak, although a lot. Techno slow burn cuz trust issues at first but it doesn't really take long if you read in one sitting. Also Techno doesn't use totem to survive execution so it's less WHOA!

“He really does look like Mike,” Lucas breathes, as he gives Mike’s twin a scan, head to toe.
“Yeah, if Mike were way hotter and a knight?” Max chips in, and Will can vaguely hear Mike muttering again. “He looks so medieval, like he’s from Camelot or some shit.”
“I am Michael,” the knight begins to plead again. He turns his doe eyes back to Will, returning to his side like a diligent guard, even going as far as to reach out and take his hands. “Please, you have to believe me. I would never lie to you. Have I ever broken our oath? Let me prove it.”
Will was a bit preoccupied with gazing into the knight’s eyes, his cheeks flushing under the intense stare and the way his hands were held so gently. Mike had no issues ruining their moment.
“And he’s weirdly obsessed with Will.” Mike sounds even angrier than he did in the woods, and his sharp tone is enough for Will to snap out of his hand-holding to step a respectable distance away from the knight. “We need to send him back to wherever he came from.”
