It had become an urban legend throughout the years, one that many people swore up and down was real.
Those that had been near the mausoleum that housed Ernesto de la Cruz’s body and beloved guitar, after sundown had claimed to have heard crying, wailing even, of a woman coming from the grave. But when they would enter the mausoleum to check on the distraught woman, there would be no one there. Just a mangled skeleton within a casket and a guitar hanging over it.
It was said that if you peeked through the windows at exactly midnight, you could see the eyes carved into the head of the guitar glowing a bright orange and drip, drip, dripping red.

Or, the guitar is cursed, and Ernesto de la Cruz isn't the only one to feel the effects of said curse.
