Summary
They have been very successful at hiding their relationship. While not everyone keeps up with boxing the name Eddie Diaz is known. Mostly from his appearance at the Olympics but a little from his modeling career on the side.
Buck doesn’t seem too bothered by people drooling over his husband on random billboards and such.
No one at the 118 was aware of Buck’s marital status and he planned to keep it that way.
Or Eddie is a famous boxer and Buck is at the 118. Their marriage is private until the team finds out about Eddie during a random 12 hour shift. But this isn’t the first they’ve heard of Eddie Diaz.

Summary
Buck woke up with a horrible taste in his mouth. A taste of hair with a hint of puke and a feeling of regret for something he couldn’t remember.
Rolling over on the hard carpet with his whole body aching he surveyed the hotel room when he sees familiar feet hanging out of a bathtub.
“Eddie!” Buck winced at his own volume, a thumpping in his head followed. “Eddie” Buck whispered this time.
Eddie shot up out of the tub with a groan glaring at Buck before laying back down. He immediately sat back up and stared at Buck.
Buck looked around him double checking he was what Eddie was squinting at.
“What?” Buck quietly asked, furrowing his eyebrows in worry.
“You might want to take a look at yourself.”
Or Buck wakes up covered in obvious signs of a hookup after Chimney’s bachelor party. But his boyfriend was not in attendance.

Buck had royally screwed up this time. This took the cake in every worst case scenario he could imagine. He blew up his life by accident. Eddie overheard his call with Maddie and now he knows how madly in love he is.
Now he’s staying at Maddie’s, he’s lost the place he’s called home for the last 8 years and his best friend.

Summary
Buck has a secret. Well four big secrets. He never meant for them to be secrets but when he joined the 118 they assumed some things and he just didn’t correct them.
They assumed that he was an irresponsible, frat guy who slept with half the population of L.A which might’ve been who he was if he never met Eddie.
Or Buck has a husband and 3 kids at home and the team finds out.

Summary

Summary
“Wait, you’re not straight?” Buck asks and Eddie spins in shock. That has got to be one of the most ridiculous questions that Buck has asked him. And that’s saying something.
“No, I’m not.” Eddie deadpans.
“So what…are you?”
“I’m in the wrong universe.”Or
Eddie from canon universe switches places with Eddie from the universe where he confessed his love for Buck.

Summary
The AU where Bobby adopted Evan when he was six years old, and then twenty years later Eddie joins the 118 and starts dating Buck... and no one initially realises that Evan and Buck are, in fact, the same person. Part 1 is the story of the identity shenanigans and the reveal.
Part 3 is a collection of missing scenes from the original story, while Parts 4 ('how it could have gone') and 5 ('another way it could have gone') are outtakes and depict two different scenarios where the reveal of Buck and Evan being the same person go a different way.
Part 2 'oh captain my captain' is a prequel and shows the 118 meeting Bobby and then later on Evan.
Part 6 'these are the days we've been waiting for' is the story of Buck's first day at the 118.
Part 7 'may you live in interesting times' is a sequel to that takes place about a year or so later, and Part 8 'I once was lost (but now I'm found)' directly follows on and is a full-length sequel and prequel to the main story.
This series as it is now is standalone and can be considered complete. The only reason I haven't marked it as such is because I do expect to be adding additional installments at some point in the future. Happy reading!

He blinks, once, twice, three times. Nothing changes. Beside him, stretched out and golden and glowing in the dawn sunlight, is Eddie. He’s not wearing a shirt.

“C'mere," Buck says, sitting up to scoot closer to Eddie.
"What are you doing?” Eddie asks, and Buck sighs.
"You can just kiss me, get a taste of the lip balm, and tell me what flavour you think it is.”
Eddie can’t believe his ears.
"That is such a stupid way to win a bet, Buck."
“Oh so you concede?"
Eddie rolls his eyes, shaking his head before planting both hands on the sides of Buck's face and hauling him in to press their lips together.
OR
Buck and Eddie make a bet on whether or not Eddie can guess all of Buck's lip balm flavours, and in order for Eddie to get a taste, they have to kiss.
