Summary
There should have been nothing remarkable about two people in a busy cafeteria, but Becket takes in the familiar sight of curly hair, brown eyes, and a t-shirt with a science pun on it talking animatedly alongside Actual Anthony Edward Stark and promptly drops his lunch.
He gapes for a solid second, seeing but not believing. It definitely doesn’t look like Mr. Stark is forcing the kid to leave, or firing him, or escorting him to security given the relaxed smiles on both of their faces. If anything, Becket thinks Mr. Stark looks rather proud.
“So, uh, Mr. Stark definitely knows Roomba-Kid,” Becket says and discreetly tilts his head in the direction of the pair.
“Oh my god,” Jess says. She almost sounds gleeful. “Oh my god, he’s not just some random kid. He’s Mr. Stark’s kid.”
or: the interns at Stark Industries have some questions about Peter Parker. The answers aren’t quite what they expect.

Alex resisted the urge to laugh at the poor thing. He’d never seen him this flustered.
“Pete, come on. You’ve got to be kidding me,” he said, grinning at him. “That Harley kid is practically drooling over you.”
“Me?”
“I don’t see any other teenage boys that he was flirting with,” Kiara shrugged.
“That- that wasn’t flirting.”
Damian threw back his head and laughed.
“Dude. He literally walked his redneck ass down here to tell you that Captain America is making dinner when he could have easily just told Friday to tell you or texted you himself.”
“He was just being polite,” Peter huffed, refusing to look anyone in the eye. “Besides, there’s no reason for him to like me anyway.”

Part 2 to the Internverse series! It's finally here!! I highly recommend reading the first work in this series (Coincidences and Superheroes), otherwise there are a lot of things that won't make sense.

Summary
He rubbed forcefully at his eyes, thinking that it was some sort of hallucination brought on by too much caffeine and not enough sleep, but when Alex dropped his hands, the kid was still there.
He had to say something. He couldn’t just not say anything.
“Uh, c-can I help you?”
The kid nearly jumped out of his skin, smacking his head on the shelf above him in surprise. He whirled around to find the source of the sound, and Alex was met with the biggest deep brown doe eyes he’d ever seen in his life.
“Jesus, sneak up on a guy next time, why don’t you?” the kid hissed, placing a hand over his heart dramatically.
“Sorry. I-“ Alex stopped himself.
Why was he apologizing? He was the adult here.
OR
Alex and the other R&D interns meet the whirlwind that is Peter Parker, and they learn something about him that they honestly probably should have noticed sooner.
Alex just wants one normal day in his life.
