Summary
"If Jason was thinking more, he would question how his life led to this moment.
If he were thinking more, he probably wouldn't have leaned in. He even more likely wouldn't have deepened the kiss. A more thoughtful mind might not have led fumbling hands to leave a trail of clothes. He most likely wouldn't have wound up here, with the other man beneath him as he pumped in and out of him."

Summary
Jason's eyes trailed Rose from across the room. They were undercover, so his appreciation for how fast she learned pole dancing was double layered.
"That broad with white hair, you think the carpet matches the drapes?" The man next to him said. Roman Sionis, aka Black Mask, aka their target. "I don't know, wouldn't mind finding out," Jason said in a put-on accent. "Great minds think alike," Mask said. Jason gave his best fake laugh.

Summary
"Oswald couldn't even tell Ed he'd miss him before leaving him behind. It felt like some sort of karma. For refusing to admit such to Oswald the first time they were at this pier. He said it before leaving him behind though, even if only to a hallucination. Ed gripped the dog leash. Maybe Edward was Oswald's version of that. It still felt like everyone got their three words but him. Then he remembered Oswald didn't get the three words he wanted either."
