The Academy had been Jayce's dream school since he was thirteen, and he was super excited to finally be going there. And also kind of nervous, because he'd never been away from home for more than a weekend, and he'd emailed the guy who was supposed to be his roommate and the guy had never responded, so that was a little worrisome, because Jayce thought he'd managed to be super chill in the email but he was never really sure and Jayce didn't really have that many friends because everyone said he was so intense, but he didn't know any other way to be.

Toji’s adjusting it now, pulling leather through metal, setting it into place around his neck the way he used to put on Megumi’s scarves when he was small.
Memories flood from sweeter days. He feels the snow clinging to his lashes, the cold on his nose, Megumi feels himself smiling.
Toji is reaching for the camera again; It's pointing at him, its big black eye unblinking as it watches over him. Megumi neglects to notice that he never got his kiss.

Because, admittedly, Mahito was everything that Nanami missed in his life.
His rowdy energy was quite exhausting, but Nanami enjoyed watching him talk about anything. About the new game console he got for himself, his classmates, and what he ate at lunch. The boy was living freely in the way Nanami didn't try, and sometimes he thought of things he missed while building an empire. It brought an unexpected melancholy about all the chances at a happier life Kento missed, but it quickly dissipated at Mahito's yet another antic.
He was a chaos in Nanami's meticulously organized life, and alpha didn't mind it.
And slowly, like thaw in spring, Nanami felt himself falling for the boy.
About Nanami starting to believe in true mates.
