Summary
Hey, did you guys want another Indiana Jones self insert? Awesome. Did you want one for all three movies cause there were only three movies, right? (I haven't seen the new one yet, my jury is still out) Right. Good. Did you want that to eventually evolve into a WWII drama with spies and resistance and intrigue and lovers torn apart by war and eventually reunited at the end? Sweet, cause that's also in the plans. Good talk everybody. A work in progress that has more done for every part of it except where it begins so bear with me.

Summary
After the prison fell, everyone scattered to survive with the plan to head north to June's parents' farm in Virginia if they got separated. She'd managed to get Carl out safely, but the governor's men weren't the only ones around to waylay them. Now the two of them have to make their way north through the Appalachians before winter, but something will start slowing her down sooner rather than later, and she doubts they'll make it to Virginia before it does. So maybe, just maybe, running into a kind man named Stu Redman will be their saving grace.
