He smiles a little, how happy he feels to be free of that pressure, he's not like Eileein, he can choose who to be with even though no one likes him, and stupid fate, the universe, or whatever the fuck it is, isn't going to take it away from him, then he turns to the mirror and sees it, there's something on his lower back, near the elastic of his underwear. It's a little small, it looks like a black mark like a bruise, but Severus hasn't bruised himself recently, and then he realizes he didn't check his whole body.
