Summary
Weakly, delightfully overwhelmed, Stolas raised a trembling, feather-covered hand and cupped Blitzø’s cheek, his right taloned hand gently resting against the imp’s stark white mark. He turned his head, looking back at Blitzø with eyes wide, glossy, and brimming with unadulterated devotion.
"You... you absolute brute..." Stolas breathed, his voice cracking into a soft, needy trill as Blitzø pumped his fingers slowly, agonizingly, thrusting deeper into his slick warmth under the bubbles. "You're ruining... my dramatic pacing..."
"Fuck your pacing," Blitzø chuckled, leaning in to lick a trail of hot moisture up Stolas’s neck, his fingers twisting inside him, finding that sweet, sensitive spot that made the prince’s toes curl and his feathers puff up to twice their normal size. "You wrote the script, Stols. I'm just bringing it to life." Blitzø teased him ruthlessly for another minute, scissoring his fingers inside Stolas’s tight, pulsing heat, working him until Stolas was squirming, whimpering, and practically begging, his hips lifting out of the water in a desperate search for more pressure.

How the hell do you avoid an arranged marriage?
Become a priest and marry God instead! Decide to flee from your family, have a couple identity crisis as a closeted gay young man, become a perfect example as a cleric, be too nice, end up as a the lapdog of an Archbishop, be successful but exhausted, get too friendly with the church wine, enter the mid 30s depression, fuck-up everything you constructed until this point, get promoted to Bishop as an excuse to be secretly banished to a weird ass town in the middle of nowhere…. and meet Blitzø, the annoying love of your life.
Stolas' plan at 10 years old of becoming a priest to avoid marrying Stella was absurd from the start, but he never expected what he would find when he arrived at Holy Water town as the new Bishop. Nobody trained him to do exorcisms!

Summary
Blitzø woke with a start, rolling off the beanbag almost immediately before stumbling over to the couch where his very distressed bird was sitting up, panting heavily and eyes darting all around the room.
Stolas had nightmares semi-regularly, and at this point Blitzø was so used to being woken up by the owl that it barely even phased him anymore. He would hear the heavy breathing, or the startled yell, or in this case his name being called, and he was up in an instant to be by his side. Stolas had told him many times that he didn’t need to do this, that if Blitzø just let him be he would calm himself down and go back to sleep, but there was no fucking way that was gonna happen.
