Summary
Climbing out of the Abyss, Hornet and Lace are both exhausted and battered, physically and emotionally. The two of them struggle with their own internal conflicts. Hornet for the first time in a very long time is not alone. She doesn't know what to do when she is faced with feelings she hasn’t let herself feel in so long, courtesy of her new silken companion Lace. She is also reeling from seeing her sibling Ghost, while also processing everything she has been through since reaching Pharloom. Lace has gotten her wish and is finally free from her mother's grasp. Now she has a chance to be herself, but ages spent under her mother's control have left her grappling with her own nature. A nature that she feels her mother has cursed her with. She now has to deal with her past, while spending time with the Spider she loathed, but is finding herself enjoying the company of. The two bugs must grow from their past and forge a new future together in their practically infinite lifespan.

Summary
What do you do when you're suddenly given freedom, if you've never learned to be free?
Lace laughs. Because the only alternative would be to cry.
After being dragged out of the Void by Hornet, whether she wanted or not, Lace finds herself free for the first time ...and bereft of any purpose. With nowhere else to go, the woven child joins Hornet as she ventures all across Pharloom to help rebuild it from ruin, along the way learning to accept her existence, and eventually become more than her mother's daughter.
My take on Lace's character and her future after the Sister of the Void ending. Expect spoilers for the entire game. Chapters will contain more specific content warnings if required. More tags to be added.

Summary
Iterators, godlike in comparison to most creatures. They were simply made to be more than anything else that came before them in most ways. However, they still are living creatures caught in the cycles of their world. And, crucially, they are still people. As people, they break and suffer and lie and love. As people, they live and die… they still question.
Fivepebbles spent an excruciating amount of time sitting in his own dying body, waiting for the end as he lost more and more. In that time where he was both living and dead, he began to question.
Was he doomed to end this way form the start. But he ends up gasping against the feeling of it all returning to him and realizes he’s been sent back in time. He keeps his condition from going public and vows to change a few things- but can anything truly change his fate? Or is he genuinely that doomed by the narrative?
Aka- My take on the “Pebbles goes back in time/cycles” concept. Planned out about a year ago but rewritten (and/or written for the first time for at least half the chapters) but I decided it’s time to at least start sharing it. This will explore Pebbles as a character, fate, endings, relationships and change- hopefully for the better.

Five Pebbles was pretty sure his story was coming to an end, alone in the snow, covered by his collapsed superstructure with no way out.
The world, however, gave him a second chance in the form of a weird green thing that seemed to...
...Throw him back in time?
Now with memories of freezing cold and information on how to not only fix the rot, but also fix Moon as well, he promised himself he would do whatever he could to never have to relive this awful cold all alone.
The isolation, cold, pain, and hundreds of thousands of cycles worth of thinking made him dead set on never going through that ever again. Even if that meant ripping off his umbilical before that could ever happen.In the meantime... The rest of the local group is confused. After all, the Pebbles they knew was a pretensious jerk who killed Moon then cut all communications, but the one that came back to them was a paranoid mess who seemed to space out every few minutes.
