All of this. I empathised strongly with Susan as the older sister in reading Narnia (though really, there are bits of me in all of them...) - so her "growing up" and leaving and *forgetting* was a ridiculous notion and a shock that I've been indignant about ever since. Let us have our lipsticks and nylons and fun as well as our strength, pride and independence. All girls are welcome in Narnia.

He’s refused other girls and put off asking Cho until the last minute, only to find she’s already taken. Ron, in a veela haze, asked Fleur to much public embarrassment. Now they’ve just been told that even Hermione and Ginny already have dates, leaving them with few options and very little time.
