Feng Xin hates Mu Qing. Everyone knows that, it have been like this since before they ascended. They fight, punch, kick, bite, offend each other, too disgusted to even walk on the same street without jumping into each other's neck.
General Nan Yang hates General Xuan Zhen. Their rivalry bleeds over their followers on opposite sides of the same territory. There was no tolerance, just pride and resentment.
But Ju Yang doesn't hate, no, he is different from the other two. Ju Yang loves his Qing-mei. Loves when he scratches, loves when he fights, loves when Qing-mei try so hard to get away from his hands only to guide them away from prying eyes. Ju Yang loves to hunt him down and devour him, piece by piece. And his precious and beloved Qing-mei always gives him exactly all he wants.

Feng Xin felt Xie Lian move, a simple turn of his head to look at him. ‘Can I ask you a question, Feng Xin?’ he asked in a whisper, as though making too much noise would destroy this little sanctuary.
Bracing himself, he hummed an assent. Xie Lian would be gentle with his questions, but Feng Xin didn’t know how to be gentle with his answers.
‘Do you…think that alphas and omegas have to pair up?’
He turned to meet Xie Lian’s gaze with a questioning hum.
‘I just mean…do you think it’s possible for two omegas to pair up instead? If they like each other, I mean.’
Feng Xin and Mu Qing are both alphas. They have known this about each other since they were kids. But when their little pack of three suffers a sudden shift in dynamics, this pure and simple fact about each other starts to grow complicated.

Summary
If Mu Qing had known that moving in with Feng Xin had meant having to deal with his demon child, he would have never agreed.
The "demon child" in question was Cuo Cuo, Feng Xin's four-year-old son, who had apparently deigned to make it his personal mission to drive Mu Qing to an early grave.
In the three days since Mu Qing had dragged his suitcases through the door, Cuo Cuo had already:
1.Hid Mu Qing's keys, leaving him frantically searching for them under the sofa while Cuo Cuo watched with an angelic smile.
2.Colored in the margins of Mu Qing's favorite book, proudly declaring, "Look! Cuo Cuo made it pretty!"
3. Repeatedly mispronounced Mu Qing's name on purpose, calling him "Uncle Moo Cow," much to Feng Xin's roaring laughter.
OR
FengQing moves in together and Feng Xin is discovering some things about himself, while Cuo Cuo is unintentionally stirring up drama.

"I see," Xie Lian said. "That’s a bit sad." He was using his pitying tone of voice, which Mu Qing had always hated. His long eyebrows curved gently as he frowned. It was really obvious that Feng Xin had come and told him about their fight and that the two of them agreed Mu Qing was in the wrong.

Not knowing how to turn back to his human form and abhorring the thought of any of his martial brothers seeing him this way, Shen Qingqiu runs to the bamboo groves in hopes of figuring it out by himself, only to be found by one of his disciples, Shen Yuan, who has no clue the fluffy white cat in front of him is his dreaded Shizun.
Why Shen Yuan would vent about his life to a cat is beyond Shen Qingqiu’s understanding. Why Shen Qingqiu would keep coming back to listen is also beyond his understanding.

Summary

Mu Qing has no formal magical training nor a rich lineage and is instantly an outsider, however he finds a companion in Xie Lian and his annoying guard dog - Feng Xin. Mu Qing just wants to be left alone, while Feng Xin is infinitely curious about Mu Qing and the secrets he's hiding, ultimately leading to the two of them clashing... a lot. Yet there is more going on at Taicang university that heated rivalries and bickering. Mu Qing and Feng Xin soon find themselves in the center of a convoluted mystery and somehow have to learn to work together and figure out what's truly going on before its too late.

Granted, he failed a couple of times, and Shen QingQiu may or may not have lost count of how many wife plots already hit him (a lie, it was thirteen now) but still. What did Shen QingQiu have to do to make his silly, stupid husband understand that it’s not his fault?
He lets out a heavy sigh. He raises a hand to pat the top of Luo BingHe’s head. Luo BingHe, his sweet if foolish husband, lets his gaze fall to Shen QingQiu’s other hand, now gently caressing his own. His eyes glisten, but no tears fall. Shen QingQiu understood this a long time ago: Luo BingHe never cries when it truly matters.
This Master is alright, Shen QingQiu says as gently as he can, you don’t have to worry anymore.
Except there is a big, very real reason to worry, namely: Shen QingQiu’s voice.aka Shen QingQiu is hit by a curse. Confessions ensue, memories resurface and that one name finally comes to light.
