Geo turns over in his sleep and the ninja considers. Surely he could slip into those blankets? Sidle up next to Geo and steal some of that warmth for a few hours? He usually wakes before Geo does,- ninja training left some habits- he could just drop back onto his own mattress before Geo even noticed.
He realizes his mistake the moment his knee touches the bigger mattress. It’s so plush from the blankets that any movement causes it to dip inward. But he has a mission, so he soldiers onward. He gets both knees on the bed and freezes as Geo turns toward him, blinking sleepy eyes open. “Cole?”

You look like a princess,” Earth's daughter says, her mossy green eyes wide with hero worship as Libber spins in her dress, hair curled and freckles bleached the way Cliff likes.
Her husband-to-be waits for her, handsome and beaming. Earth’s daughter tosses flowers in front of her as Libber walks down the aisle, scattering petals of her namesake.
Lillies.
Beautiful flowers, though more fitting for a funeral than a wedding.
But perhaps they’re suitable still; Libber will look back on this day as the day her heart started walking towards its grave.

“I mean, sure,” Kai pressed on, hoping his voice sounded more reassuring to Jay than it did to him, “your parents can be a little eccentric sometimes, but your mom is totally not crazy.”
“Not my mom.” Jay’s whisper was barely audible, his eyes still wide as his chest shuddered. “My birth mom…”
Kai blinked as his entire world took a sudden, sharp shift on its axis. “Your… what? Jay, what are you talking about? Come on, this isn’t funny.”
“Yeah, no kidding, and I’m not laughing…” Jay squeezed his eyes shut, clutching at his chest. “He… He told me that she was dead… Why would he do that…?”
A startling revelation about Jay's parents shakes Kai's world up in more ways than one, setting him on a journey of healing toward his own parents. By helping Jay, Kai unintentionally gets the help he's been avoiding since the Hands of Time. (Taking place sometime before Seabound. Featuring a Dragons Rising Epilogue.)

Aka Nya × Pixane is one of my favourite ships as they all have (/had) amazing chemistry.
