Summary
When they had all first found themselves here, his sense of smell had done some reconnaissance (against his will). Everyone's blood was surprisingly distinct, so much so that they could serve as something similar to fingerprints. But through the cloying sweetness of Mahiru and the subdued florals of Shidou, one particular scent stood out to Fuuta the most; a deep, full-bodied musk that reminds him of a fancy cologne paired with a rich whiskey. And who else could a scent like that belong to other than Kazui?
Just the passing thought of that scent significantly worsens Fuuta's aching. Maybe he could just sneak over to Kazui's cell and drink a little. If he's careful enough, Kazui would stay asleep and would be none the wiser to his antics. He can manage that— at least, he certainly hopes he can. He's entirely out of options otherwise.

Summary
The elevator quietly dings when it stops at their floor. The hallway is empty, leaving Fuuta with no grievance about Kazui taking his hand as they walk to their room. There's a surprising amount of sounds Fuuta can hear from beyond the doors they walk past, something he somehow hadn't noticed before.
Then it occurs to him: Am I that loud?

"Is everything alright?" he asks once he's seated. "You seem… Upset."
Fuuta continues to glare at his shoes, his frown deepening. "I'm just tired," he says, beginning to kick the ground with the tip of his shoe.
"Is that really all?"
He doesn't want to push, but he's known Fuuta for long enough to tell that this wasn't simply exhaustion that was bogging him down.
"I…" Fuuta stops abusing the ground and takes in a deep breath, then lets it go with another sigh. "…I just feel so out of place."

Summary
Mine was always poised to drop whatever he was doing if it meant providing aid to the Sixth Chairman, so when he asks him to visit the Tojo Clan's HQ for the night to help him with some work, he doesn't give it a second thought. Incidentally, Mine ends up left to work through paperwork while Daigo runs out to get them both some well-deserved dinner.
He shouldn't be gone for long, there's no reason to suspect anything outrageous should happen in his absence. Not even when Mine's alone in the chairman's office chair with his presence ever so recent, and a few feelings left prickling Mine's skin.
