Summary
“Henry at 50” will be unveiled during London Pride celebrations and feature never-before-seen pictures, personal items, and family videos from the Fox-Claremont-Diaz and Fox-Mounchristen-Windsor families. The V&A worked closely with Congressman Alex Fox-Claremont-Diaz, Princess Beatrice, and Percy Okonjo to locate and display a number of personal effects of the late Prince Henry, Duke of Albany in order to celebrate his life and his trailblazing marriage to Mr. Fox-Claremont-Diaz.

“Remember how, when I started working here, I told you there was a coworker who talked a little differently than other people because he couldn’t hear? That was Henry,” Alex explained gently.

When his phone rings just after two in the morning, Alex fakes sleep. He stays perfectly still as Henry reaches over him to pick it up and squeezes his eyes shut when he hears the soft sound Henry makes when he sees who’s calling.
He hears Henry’s groggy “hello,” then a soft “okay,” and “yes, he’s here,” followed by Henry’s hand pressing to the middle of his back.
“Love,” Henry whispers, and Alex sighs as he lifts his hand so Henry can press the phone into it.
