Summary
In a monastery in a dark, cold part of the world, a lonely monk rescues a wounded fox, only to find that all is not as it seems. The arrival of Marlowe Honeywell, kitsune and dandy extraordinaire, has thrown a wrench into the peaceful, predictable routine Belliot has enjoyed for the past twenty years, for better or for worse. Despite the immediate spark between them, the resulting upheaval may prove too much for the monastery and its inhabitants to survive.
Why can't Belliot remember the past twenty years?
Who is Honeywell, and why has he chosen this, of all places, to start trouble?
Why have monks begun going missing?
And what is Abbot Caladan Greenhorn hiding?- Language:
