She did everything right.
She really, really did.
She put the portal gun down and left Aperture science behind her. In fact, she even met a nice woman... Slowly built her life up and adopted a beautiful girl.
What happens what that little girl grows to be a teenager, and starts to uncover her mother's past? Even worse when she starts hiding an old friend directly behind her back who spouts stories of a facility and after all his time up in space, all he wants is to go home.
