Jeremy's words were slow and careful as if he was distracted and Jean glanced back over his shoulder where he was still leaned over the table. Jeremy swallowed a nervous smile on his face, like he could feel the charged energy in the air between them.
“When you’re ready, use this hand to knock the stick into the cue ball. Not too much force, remember you don’t want to knock it in as well.”
His fingers were still loosely wrapped around Jean’s wrist as they continued looking into each other’s eyes. Jean glanced down at his wrist then back up at Jeremy.
