It was an entirely unremarkable cargo run, which of course meant that it was almost destined to go wrong.
“- I disagree, it’s fine that they’re together, and that’s not just because there’s no scenes we need to skip for this couple, and not just because it’s canon and-” a shudder ran through the ship, knocking it sideways in its chair, and it stopped talking. It jumped up, sending a ping to ART to report what was happening, seeing that they’d fallen out of the wormhole before ART could even respond. "What happened to your engines?"
Perihelion was silent for a few seconds before responding, although its emotions were already leaking through before then. "They’re turned off. We’ve left the wormhole."
"Why? I’m assuming it’s not on purpose, unless you’ve got some strange new experiment you’ve been distracted by and haven’t bothered to tell me about"
"It wasn’t. I don’t know why."
