He was a constant spark of joy in his otherwise mundane life.
Goro hoisted up the heavy eight year old, thinking he was getting too heavy to carry; it was a thought that caused a twinge of sadness in his chest. He sighed and looked up at the ceiling, holding Jose tight, "I wouldn't know what to wish for. I have you, a good job, and a nice house. What else could we possibly need?"
