Summary
A cool fun fact about box turtles is that they are one of the most freeze-resistant animals alive. See, when they get too cold, their bodies have this amazing defense mechanism that diverts their blood to their core to keep them alive. Super unfortunate for the Hamato family’s blood pressure, because in severely cold environments a box turtle’s heart will actually stop beating. Fascinating right?
It would be soooo fascinating, in Leo’s humble opinion, if they had known about it before finding Mikey dead on the floor of a freezer.or, box turtles can literally have 80 percent of their bodily fluids frozen and LIVE. what the fuck.

Carol gets a call from Talos just as she's kicking back with Maria and Goose, and while she's less than pleased to be cutting her time off short, he mentions Peter Parker, and, well—
The kid she met on the battlefield eight months ago is apparently having a rough time stomaching his grief and a trip he took to Europe, and his aunt wants to provide him a change of scenery.
Carol calls it road trip therapy, but she doesn't anticipate the kid moving into her heart along the way.

Summary
Peter Parker is starting his 'internship' with Tony Stark. He wants to be excited about it but he has a few reservations. The top of the list being that Mr. Stark had always kept distance between them, only showing up with he felt it was necessary and shoving him off on Happy when he didn't. The mixed messages he been receiving from his mentor were also a bit- confusing and he really didn't know what to expect.
Or:
Tony Stark has a lot to learn and is [temporarily] a bad mentor. That is until Peter's hero-worship fades and he's able to find the confidence needed to set the man straight. He isn't an incompetent child or frivolous pet project and he's tired of being treated as such.

Summary
Homecoming AU.
Ben and May divorced before Peter’s parents died, so when Ben is murdered Peter goes into foster care. It takes just a tiny taste of superpowers for Peter to decide he doesn’t want to put up with his horrible foster father anymore—the streets are infinitely more appealing. All he wants is to be Spider-Man anyway.
So he leaves.
Simple.
Simple, that is, until Iron Man needs Spider-Man’s help. Peter isn’t about to turn down an opportunity to fight alongside Tony Freaking Stark, but he also isn’t going to let his hero know that his recruit is a fifteen-year-old homeless dropout. So they strike a deal. Peter will help Tony. In return, the mask stays on.
And that’s when things get complicated.

“Why didn't you just tell me? You were supposed to trust me.” Tony's eyes are hard and ablaze with anger but there's something in his voice that just sounds bewildered and just sad; it’s a few gasping breaths away from almost desperate, possibly.
Peter scoffs and lets out a humorless laugh, “Yeah, well, we both know how that ended up last time.”

Summary
Peter could hear the voices floating down to him, muffled by the floorboards nailed into place above his head and cemented over with the industrial strength tiles that made up Tony’s workshop floor. The last thing he had remembered was a dark figure appearing over him in bed, then he had woken up here, groggy and exhausted and unable to move.
Unable to move because whoever had grabbed him had covered him in concrete from toes to mouth, repaired Tony’s floor, and left him there.

Tony realized they were going to die about two days ago.
Their ship had no fuel, no power. He’d screwed around with the wiring a million times, just trying to get communications back online, but all he got was a few painful burns and jack shit in the way of results.
They were going to die in an alien spaceship, floating lightyears away from home, and there was absolutely nothing Tony could do about it.

Summary
There should have been nothing remarkable about two people in a busy cafeteria, but Becket takes in the familiar sight of curly hair, brown eyes, and a t-shirt with a science pun on it talking animatedly alongside Actual Anthony Edward Stark and promptly drops his lunch.
He gapes for a solid second, seeing but not believing. It definitely doesn’t look like Mr. Stark is forcing the kid to leave, or firing him, or escorting him to security given the relaxed smiles on both of their faces. If anything, Becket thinks Mr. Stark looks rather proud.
“So, uh, Mr. Stark definitely knows Roomba-Kid,” Becket says and discreetly tilts his head in the direction of the pair.
“Oh my god,” Jess says. She almost sounds gleeful. “Oh my god, he’s not just some random kid. He’s Mr. Stark’s kid.”
