There's a routine her body seems to know and run through every morning before anyone's awake to see it and a version of herself she's been performing for so long, she forgets to let the facade down at the end of the day.Three years in, she thought she had it down. The right face for the right room. The right amount of nothing in her voice when his name comes up. A performance good enough that even she sometimes forgets where it ends and she begins.
