Summary
The twins and Hope need to recreate the spell Penelope used on the journal and the pens for a scheme that indirectly involves bringing down the monster of the week. In order to do that they have to rely on the memories Penelope left behind in SBS, accessible through the remnants of her that lingers throughout the school, and go through them with only the strength of the magical surges exuded in each memory to guide them in the direction of the right one.
Unfortunately, they can only go about it in a linear manner, starting with a random memory from the past that exudes a surge of power and going forward from there. Josie is not a fan of the idea especially since Finch is coming along for the ride.

Perhaps the most insistent one is the yearning for a life where nothing happens. Because for all the life you wish to be living, you're not opposed to one where you can spend your days just existing with her.
Idk how many chapters this will be, I just feel the need to explore little glimpses of their life outside of urgency.

Penelope glances over at Josie whose head is bobbing along to some pop song Penelope hates but Josie adores.The sunlight paints Josie with a soft yellow glow, her wind-blown hair jumping along to her movements, her eyes closed, and her lips curled into a silly grin. And Penelope thinks that she wants to be trapped in this moment forever.
Josie opens her eyes and looks at the driver's seat, at Penelope's soft smile, at the sunlight glinting off of her nose stud, and the spark that lights up her Penny's green eyes. Penelope taps her fingers on the steering wheel to the rhythm of the tune. And Josie thinks that she wants to sing along to this song forever.

Penelope is hell bent on finding a cure for the Merge. She's not attending a witch only school in Belgium because her mom got a job. Her mom has been dead for two weeks. She's in Belgium so she can break into the one place that can help her find a cure to save at least one person that she loves. Penelope Park is running on heartbreak and desperation. She couldn't do anything about her mom's death but she'll be damned if she can't find a way to save the love of her life.
