Summary
Peeta doesn't stop Katniss from killing herself in time after she shoots Coin and she thinks that it's finally the end and she'll see Prim again.
When she wakes up in a room she doesn't know with pointy eared beings that she has never seen before and who are talking in a strange language that she can somehow understand, she thinks that this is another trick from the Capitol and instinctively tries to attack one of them, only for her to easily be restrained by them
It turns out that she and three other women are part of an ancient prophecy to save the realm of Middle-Earth from Sauron's darkness. It's up to her to save people again, but she's not alone in this as she receives help from the elf she tried to attack, some new friends she slowly makes along the way and a healer who looks very familiar to her and sings a very familiar song...

Summary
A failed attempt to send the One Ring to an empty world away from Sauron transports the Fellowship of the Ring and some of Rivendell's leaders to another world, with the Ring, and Sauron.
Sauron is starting another war in another world, but he is going to have to deal with some of his bitterest enemies come back from the dead. Thranduil, who has already lost everyone else, won't take 'Legolas is gone' for an answer. Elrond has secrets he cannot tell. And Frodo's thoughts blend with the memories of the Ring Bearers and Sauron himself, as reality itself starts to fall apart to him.
