Buck manages to injure himself yet again, how? Even he doesn't know. He assumes he simply slept wrong and his shoulder suffered the consequences, but when the pain worsened he decided to ignore it in favor of his job. He couldn't risk not working again, he didn't know what he'd do with himself after it was such a terrible experience previously. But he can't hide it forever, and when he has no other choice but to take time off work.. Well at least he isn't alone this time.

Summary
The work is still a heavy wip but:
Alastor dies in a battle he's supposed to live through, which changes everything. Alastor wakes up now stuck in the past, flipping between memories and alternate routes, until he's able to change that event to ensure the original plot continues (basically future seasons). He comes to the conclusion that to do this, he must find a route where he can kill Vox in a specific way, because clearly a simple stab to the face just keeps sending him back to the start. But once he finds himself in a route where he and Vox are still pals—more than pals—and he's part of the Vees, he finds it a bit harder to do so.
Guys, I am not good at sticking to plans. I will try to write without getting burnt out and finish this, but no promises.

What started out as a joke quickly turned into something more devastating.
None of the Hermits were excited for this exchange program, in honesty it sounded stupid to force them out of their well comforted school and home. Scar's friends weren't exactly happy he was the one picked for their social experiment either.
It ended up leading to a rabbit hole of a missing person's case, a teacher's suspicious death, ghosts, and a boy who adamantly refuses to where his uniform.
Scar didn't expect to uncover a cold case when he changed schools.
Or: A combination of the YHS lore where the hermits are able to intervene and help Grian.
