Summary
While on his way back from visiting his mother for the weekend, Izuku gets hit by a quirk while apprehending a villain that leaves him in the body of an otter. With injured legs and none of his belongings, he tries to make it to UA to try to ask for help, but doesn't make it far on little legs.
Katsuki finds an injured, lonely otter outside an animal clinic. After getting his wounds dressed, he ends up taking his new furry friend back to the dorms with him where he plans to nurse him back to health and hopefully adopt as a pet of his own.
Unbeknownst to Katsuki, the otter is actually Izuku.
Chaos ensues.

The JTA was somewhat bittersweet; we got introduced to much of the amazing class 1-B and their abilities, however they were mostly used as punching bags for class A to show off, and nothing more.
But what if things were different?
What if we were witnessing everything from class B's perspective?
What if we got a peek into their inner struggles and dilemmas?
What if matches 4 and 5 weren't absolute atrocities?What if they could be their own protagonists?
ALSO - This isn't going to just be class B destroying class A for the whole time since that just wouldn't be fun or exciting. Expect back-and-forth fights that drag on for WAY too long!

The Sidekick Pipeline follows a cast of American hero students as they begin their second year of training at Fury High. I'm tired of reading about OCs with OP quirks, though, so this story is all about students with support-oriented quirks.
Ray's quirk is great for recon, but he struggles with confidence because his quirk doesn't pack much power or improve any of his physical abilities. His new teacher, Jan Opticon, is a retired recon legend, but to prove himself worthy of her mentorship, Searchlight must hold his own against class powerhouse Teen Titan.
Aiden has a healing quirk, so even some of his friends think he's destined to be a sidekick. His own father, director of Fury High's Medical Course, has been trying to get him to drop out of the Hero Course. Will this be the day First Aiden finally proves them all wrong?
Sabrina has a telepathy quirk, making her adept at high-speed communication, but her villainous behavior has her classmates saying she'll end up a sidekick at best. If Miss Mystic ever wants to be a leader, then she needs to regain her classmates' trust, but class speedster Shock Trooper Alpha won't make it easy.

Kendou notices things. She's begun to notice a lot of things about Bakugou. He has a temper. He's aggressive. He curses a lot, but he also overworks himself. He doesn't eat. He looks hollow.
She worries about him, and it looks like the only people who care about him are his close friends.
