Enid reaches forward to grab the blade of the tie. Her canines show in a sharp smile aimed at Wednesday as she takes the tail of tie into her mouth and bites down.
Wednesday’s eyes widen only a fraction in shock. Then she smirks right back. "Bad dog," she admonishes. "It’s not a chew toy."
Enid only releases her to murmur, "Give me something to do with my mouth then."

Enid finds home and family with the Addams, in Wednesday. A summer of love and support. Pubert adds comical antics in his quest for Enid’s love, much to the chagrin of Wednesday, haha. It’s all innocent and harmless.
There is no major villain (save for Esther partially mentioned), no epic battle, no hot or cold plot twist. Simply a story for those that could use some reassurance themselves, a slice of life. I will come back to this fic, and recommend to others that appreciate WenClair and Found Family with the Addams.
Everyone deserves a home, a family. This story is proof of that.

Years ago Wednesday made the single mistake she never thought she’d make. She broke the heart of the one person she’s ever truly loved. The only person she’d ever seen, adored, and wanted. She pushed away the person she was perhaps always meant to lose she thinks to herself. In a way that justifies the distance she created between them.
She pushed Enid away out of fear, out of inexperience, out of arrogance. Enid eventually learned how to let go. She built a life, a steadiness, and peace that no longer circles around Wednesday Addams.
It was then that Wednesday truly realized what it meant to be in fear.
Enid had survived losing her.

Enid mumbles something, or tries to, around her fingers, and Wednesday curses her own curiosity. She releases her and Enid takes a deep swallow.
"As I was saying, to be fair, you had yours in my mouth first."
Wednesday darts a hand out and hooks her finger inside Enid's cheek as if she were a fish. "That statement wasn’t worth my time," she says tersely, but Enid catches the minute curl of the corner of her mouth. Amusement, even if it’s slight. And with Wednesday, it’s always slight.
"Sowwy," Enid attempts.
Wednesday looks deep into her eyes. "You're not," she astutely guesses. "But you will be." She looks Enid from head to toe. "You beautiful, colorful, caught thing."

Fingers touched against her center through her underwear, gentle, but purposeful, and Wednesday’s breath, which she had meant to let out in a slow, dignified way, shattered in her chest, leaving her panting.
The word tore through Wednesday's throat like a broken plea. “Can you-” she started but trailed off, embarrassed.
