Summary
There were few historical accounts within the League of Shadows that detailed the rare phenomena of what was translated to being the “reincarnation” of a soul.
They called these souls, the souls of those who had experienced a traumatic end far before their fated time, the “Born Again.” It was a rare occurrence that a Born Again soul would re enter the cycle of reincarnation to begin life anew. The act of transmigration, as documented over the centuries, showed that a Born Again soul was not specific to existing within a single timeline. The soul could have belonged to another galaxy in their previous life, and could be born into an entirely different universe than they had lived within prior to their death.
Talia al Ghul, Daughter of the Demon, had grown up hearing these stories. It was unexpected when she then found herself bearing a son with a special destiny and a future that held the potential to be larger than life. A son who would be revealed as becoming the very first Born Again soul selected to reincarnate into the bloodline of the al Ghuls…. despite the increased danger the status presented to her child.
This is his story.

Summary
On the night of September third, 1999, Jason Thomas Wayne disappeared from Gotham Memorial Hospital. Born prematurely just two weeks ago on August sixteenth, the baby had been staying in the NICU until stable enough to go home with his father, billionaire Bruce Wayne. Reports say that it was most likely an inside job, as there was no evidence of tampering with security or personnel. So far there have been few leads into the disappearance, but police have detained a paramedic under allegations of aiding and abetting. Security cameras show him entering and exiting the NICU within the time frame Jason Wayne went missing. So far the police have not released a statement on the matter.
Jason Thomas Wayne was stolen from his crib at two weeks old by a money hungry Willis Todd, who intended to keep the kid until he would "find him" and return him for a reward later. Although, things don't always go to plan...
